Stirling work

Yesterday, I attended a workshop in Stirling, which looked at the range of problems and possible solutions concerning the regulation of reuse and remanufacture. The attendees were a broad church, from large private companies, through public bodies, to small charitable organisations. It was an interesting an eye-opening day (yes, really!).

Despite the mad dash from Orkney to Stirling and back, in a very environmentally-unfriendly whirl of planes and a hire car, I did manage five minutes of pure indulgence. Unbeknownst to me, the direct route from Edinburgh Airport to Stirling, along the M9, passes right by these magnificent scultpures, The Kelpies.

As impressive as they look on a cloudy, windswept March afternoon, I'm now quite keen to visit them again, during darkness, when they're all lit up. One day...
